Our Family's recipe for a meaty red tomato sauce. We add local pork and beef steaks, and slowly simmer until they fall apart. We highly suggest adding grated Parmesan, Pecorino, Asiago.. or any hard Italian style cheese good for grating. Ideal for mostaccioli or rigatoni. Sold frozen.
Ingredients
Italian Tomatoes, Pork, Beef, Eggs, Parmesan and/or Romano (part-skim milk, salt, cheese cultures and enzymes), Breadcrumbs (enriched flour [wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid] water, high fructose corn syrup, yeast salt, vegetable oil [soybean, cottonseed and/or canola] sugar), Olive Oil, Red Wine (contains sulfites), Onion, Garlic, Salt, Bay Leaf.
